Lighthouse Country: Deep Bay & Bowser

Strung along Oceanside Route 19A, these smaller coastal communities are located north of Qualicum Beach. Named after the lighthouses on Sisters Island to the south, and Chrome Island off the tip of Denman, the Lighthouse Country area includes the communities of Deep Bay, Bowser, and Qualicum Bay. This is your jumping off point for marine adventures, including kayaking, fishing, sailing, sightseeing, and diving. There are also some great pubs and restaurants just waiting to be discovered by those who are prepared to follow the lighthouse trail.

Just up the road are the famous Horne Lake Caves, where qualified guides will take you deep underground.
